An employee hesitates before opening an email flagged as suspicious

Phishing test: measure your teams' vigilance.

A simulation modelled on current attacks, run in your Microsoft 365 environment and delivered as a clear report for your management.

Concrete & effective

The phishing test, a concrete and effective training tool.

To analyse your teams' behaviour throughout your awareness campaign, Awareness Expert sets up phishing simulations. Each test draws on real threats, adapted to your environment and your users, to bring each person's vulnerabilities to light.

The results then feed your information security awareness campaign: training focuses where it is useful, and your employees' vigilance improves from one simulation to the next.

Understanding the threat

Phishing: how does an attack work?

Phishing attacks aim to extract users' personal data or, in a business context, their organisation's data.

By impersonating a trusted person or organisation, attackers make contact by email, by phone or via the intranet. The goal: to lead the target into revealing information that then opens the door to company data.

  • Login credentials for your mailbox or your tools
  • A bank transfer or a change of payment details
  • Confidential data, resold or deleted
At the heart of your campaign

The phishing test at the heart of your awareness campaign.

Through an Information Security Awareness campaign, Awareness Expert runs several simulations targeting your users. Thanks to the results, you will be able to:

  • Know your users' resilience
  • Steer the training to address the vulnerabilities revealed
  • Check the practical application of training gains
  • Track the progress of your users
  • Analyse the effectiveness of your awareness campaign

Frequently asked questions

The phishing test, in plain terms.

Is the point to catch our employees out?
No. The test reproduces a real threat to measure and to train: whoever clicks sees the missed clues straight away, without blame.
Are the results reported per person?
They are used collectively, for teaching and measurement.
Will our filters block the test?
Not if your IT team allow-lists the sending address and the dedicated IP listed in the platform guide before we send; the platform's support helps if anything is blocked.
One test or several?
A first test gives your starting point. Repetition, across an annual campaign, is what measures progress. See the annual campaign
