📑 The latest report from Check Point Software Technologies reveals a continued rise in cyberattacks in Switzerland in 2025, with an average of 1,138 attacks per week against organisations. Telecommunications are the most targeted sector, ahead of retail and public administration. While the increase appears more contained than in Germany or Austria, the pressure remains high. Swiss companies are among the attractive targets for criminal groups, which are professionalising their campaigns and now combining several attack channels.
🤖🔐 The report highlights a striking development: the massive use of artificial intelligence by attackers. Automation, social engineering extended beyond emails, an explosion in ClickFix techniques, the rise of ransomware-as-a-service and the exploitation of poorly monitored Edge, VPN or IoT equipment. Globally, organisations suffered 1,968 attacks per week in 2025 (+18%). Faced with this increase, companies are strongly urged to review their systems as a whole (network, endpoints, cloud, messaging) and to govern their use of AI in order to limit blind spots.
