🚨 New scam on Twint, watch out for fake payment requests!

📱 A wave of fraud is currently targeting users of Twint, the payment app. Scammers send fake money transfers, often early in the morning, accompanied by misleading messages such as "for yesterday". Caught just after waking up, many people validate them automatically and thus transfer money to the fraudsters while thinking they are receiving it. The amounts remain small, between 20 and 80 francs, which makes the scam discreet but remarkably effective.

🛡️ The authorities recommend checking every notification before confirming anything. A genuine incoming transfer never requires any action on your part. Also beware of text messages or sites imitating Twint, which seek to harvest your payment information. If in doubt, review your transactions and contact official support.
